longer, they will become an enormous social burden.  Healthcare services will need to be delivered much more efficiently than they are now.  That means the way hospitals operate will need to be streamlined.  Technology is the bridge to streamlined, efficient operations.

Healthcare specialists can finally do what they do best, which is care for their patients.  Information will be readily available at their finger-tips and patients will get the care they need.  Ultimately, this will translate into higher patient satisfaction and reduced costs.

People are living longer than ever before and will need more and more healthcare services.  Estimates predict that by the year 2030 Medicare costs will account for 28% of the federal budget.  It's not unlikely to expect the entire federal budget to be $10 trillion in thirty years.  That means nearly $3 trillion will go for healthcare.  Current Medicare costs are estimated at around $500 billion.  That means the size of the industry will be six times what it is now.  This isn't even something Detriot could dream about in the car industry.  As America's population get's older and lives
